About Harms Accounting & Tax Service
Harms Accounting & Tax Service is a family-owned and operated business in McHenry, IL. Since our company opened its doors in 1968, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, however our services are the finest and come with a personal touch.
Shirley Harms began the company back in 1968 with Kathleen (Harms) Krysiak joining the firm in 1992. Trinette Woods came to the company in 1995 with Jennifer York, Kathleen's daughter, following shortly thereafter.
Since Shirley retired in 1995, Kathleen and Trinette have carried forward maintaining the personal touch brought to the company by Shirley.
The office was originally located on Crystal Lake Road in McHenry next to Harms Farm. In 2006 we relocated to the Whispering Point Office Center - just .3 miles north on the Crystal Lake Road.
